The Shukuru Foundation Greetings! We have exciting news! We are now taking online donations!  Also, our website has been updated with some information about our newest adult literacy program and the new donation "button" administered through PayPal.  Please check out www.theshukurufoundation.com.    Just a brief update on our programs... We have ordered the first set of individual chalkboards for the Olturrai Nursery School.  If you would like to participate in our program and have questions, please email us!  Each chalkboard donation is US $20.  We are a new organization so any donation, no matter how small is greatly appreciated.  Please don't forget that there are other ways you can help support us:  (1)  If you have any ideas on how we can expand our programs, we would love to hear them! We are looking for anyone going to Kenya in the next few months to deliver some materials to our contacts in Nairobi.  If you or anyone you know is traveling to Kenya, please let us know. (2)  Another way you can support us is to Buy Songs of the Maasai at iTunes.  This album was created and recorded onsite in the bush!  All proceeds will go to the Laikipia Maasai. The Shukuru Foundation Greetings!
